I love reading old Household Manuals or Housekeeping Monthly - just reminds me how far we've come, at yet some thing stay the same.
Stayed the same:
"Gatherup schoolbooks, toys, paper etc and then run a dust cloth other the tables" . Many of us still need to do this every evening just to find somewhere we can all share a family meal!
Thank goodness it's changed!
