Let me ask you, how long have you been saying that?
If it's more than a year, then it's not likely to happen, unless of course you have been pregnant for 9 of those months!
Let's get real ...
- Are you really going to lose 5kg?
- Are you really prepared to put in the effort to lose the weight?
- Do you really care that much?
- Do you really love those clothes that much?
The bottom line is that you probably only want to lose the weight because you love the clothes not because you are overweight - right?
So why not donate the clothes so someone who is 5kg lighter than you, and really needs clothes!
Should you eventually loose the 5kg, take yourself shopping for new clothes as a reward for a fantastic effort.
Whatever you decide to you, don't torture yourself or your wardrobe rail by having clothes in your wardrobe that simply don't fit, take up too much room and don't make you feel fabulous today (not 20 years ago!)
Note: When taking clothes to a chartiy shop, our rule of thumb is, if you wouldn't ask a friend to give you $5 for the garment, then it isn't worth donating. Whilst people do need charity, they also have dignity.
