Our new division, Green Apple Organising, launches today!

In response to the pleas from our clients, we created a fresh approach to organising through Green Apple Organising, “The Marketplace for Fresh Organising Ideas in Bite Size Pieces”.

The concept being that sometimes you just need a little bit of help about a specific area you are organising, whether it is your wardrobe, pantry or paperwork there is a small specific Fact Sheet, Book, Workshop or Product to help you achieve your organising goals.

We know there is are a lot of organising material on the market, but quite often they include information you simply don’t need; Green Apple Organising provides the specific information you need in the format that best suits you and your lifestyle!

We have written some of our own eBooks, Fact Sheets and Workshops together with sourcing organising products and books that we think are really useful and unique.

Yay Us - Certified Concierge Specialist

We are very excited to announce that Blair Lifestyle is now a Certified Concierge Specialist as awarded by the International Concierge and Errands Association (ICEA). We are the second concierge company in Australia to achieve this status, second to our President, Abbie Allen of Lifestyle Elements in Adelaide.

The certification program has been designed to recognise those organisation who understand professionalism is more than joining an association. In order to attain and retain the CCS we have had to meet a very specific criteria.

Around the House - Organising The Bathroom

Organising The Bathroom - Completely empty your medicine cabinet and check the use by dates on all medication and perscriptions.

Do the same with cosmetics, here are some tips to help you decide if it stays or goes!

• Never use a mascara for longer than 6 months, not only can it dry out but could cause eye infections.
• Never 'pump' the mascara wand, it will only dry it out.
• Don't use your skin cream for longer than 18 months as it can lose its potencey.
• Try not to put your fingers in your make up, always use an applicator even for foundation, and make sure to wash these applicators once a week in warm soapy water and dry naturally. This will help prevent bacterial spread.
• Keep lids, tops, stoppers and such screwed on tight when not in use so the air doesnt get to the product, this can affect its shelf life.
